He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard McGinley and Dorcas Barrett McGinley; his former wife Kathleen McGinley; and his brothers, Jan Bryant and Michael McGinley.
He is survived by: his wife Kelly McGinley of Gainesville; his siblings, Eddie McGinley of Oakwood and Teresa Mary Smith; his brother-in-law Terry Lord of Gainesville; his stepson Reed Sims; his niece Kasey Smith; and his nephews, David McGinley and Logan Gonzales. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital at stjude.org or to Good News at Noon 979 Davis Street, Gainesville, GA 30501 which were organizations he truly believed in.
