As Ophelia departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ophelia may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ophelia leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Skelton and Dora Hogan Skelton; and her husband Jack Estes. She is survived by: her daughter Ann Estes Davis; and her grandsons, Brandon Davis (Lauren) and Hunter Davis (Yong). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Little & Davenport Funeral Home (355 Dawsonville Hwy, Gainesville, GA 30501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial contributions please be made to the Georgia Mountain Food Bank in memory of Mrs. Estes.
