She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Perry and Nellie Hutchinson Perry; her husband Edgar D. "Bud" Brookshire; her daughter Ellen Brookshire Milner; her daughter-in-law Nancy Brookshire; and her grandsons, Chris Brookshire and Scott Brookshire.
She is survived by: her children, Dwight Brookshire of Gainesville and Janie; her son-in-law Steve Adams of Gainesville; her sister Este Stargel of Flowery Branch; and her sister-in-law Evalena Aikens of Gainesville. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
