It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ola Mae Evans of Gainesville, Georgia, born in Hull, Georgia, who passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy Bailey and Leila Bailey; and her siblings, Willie Thomas, Essie Mitchell, James Bailey of David Bailey, J. W and Ozie Bailey.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Evans of Gainesville; her children, Mary (Tim Watson) of Gainesville, Flora Dell (Henry Thompson) of Gainesville, Rhonda Evans of Gainesville, Thea "Lisa" (Ernest Moore), James Jones of Gainesville, David "Jerry" (Diane Jones) of Gainesville, Desmond Evans of Gainesville and Terry (Juliette Haley); her grandchildren, Natasha Pusha of Flowery Branch, Consuela "Nikki" Oliver (Chris) of Flowery Branch, Quincy Hudson (Mandi) of Hoschton, Jamesha Clarke (Kevin) of Covington, Kendra Chunn of Buford, Joshua Millsap (Kela) of Buford, Brittany Jones (Kevin) of Sugar Hill and Nadia Iesha Millsap of Gainesville; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Jo Wilson and Bonnie Bailey. She is also survived by great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
