She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Gilmer and Sarah Buffington Gilmer; her husband Rev. J. L. Yopp; her brother James Edwin Gilmer; and her grandchildren, Ian Buffington and Leah Buffington.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Sailers (Harry) of Gainesville, Gina Buffington of Gainesville and James L. Yopp, III (Sheri) of Gainesville; and her sisters-in-law, Dr. Thomas L. Gilmer (Linda) of São Paulo, Brazil and Jan Gilmer of Gainesville. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother, nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives.
