She was predeceased by: her parents, L. C. Wade and Mary Irene Gillespie Wade; her husband G. L. "Doc" Martin; and her sister Vivian Irene Clark. She is survived by: her son Ricky; her daughter-in-law Lavern Martin; her grandchildren, Tyson and Easton of Lula; her son Reggie Martin; and her grandchildren, Braxton and Brandon of Lula. She is also survived by other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
