It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monte F. Trout of Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Trout; his parents, Montgomery Trout and Lottie Bell Trout; and his son Mitch Trout. He is survived by: his son Matt; his daughter-in-law Karen Trout of Hayesville, N. C.; his daughter Happy; his son-in-law Phil Ferguson of Gillsville; his grandchildren, Jenifer Roberts (Craig), Stephanie Sims (Tyler), Kaitlyn Trout and Marshall Trout; his great grandchildren, Parker Sims, Kyle Roberts, Chelsea Roberts and Kimber Sims; his siblings-in-law, Donald Baker (Judy) and Cathy Neal; and his cousin Patti Madsen.
