She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brown and Imogene Brown; her sister Donna Gibson; her daughter Tina Maddox; and her son-in-law Thomas Cornelson (West Point).
She is survived by: her husband Steve Maddox; her daughter Stephanie "Sissy"; her grandchildren, Matthew and Holly; her great grandchild Autumn; and her nephew Jason (Nealy).
