With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Brackett of Gainesville, Georgia, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on June 5, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Hammond and Alice Hammond; and her siblings, Donovan Hammond and Edith Hammond Humphrey Mielke. She is survived by: her husband Ted; her son William (Martha); her niece Julie Humphrey Vega; and her nephews, Mark Humphrey and Jeff Hammond.

Interment and celebration of life services are on hold, pending the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions.
