It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Leverne Rutherford of Gainesville, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Rutherford and Elsie Mae McCarty Rutherford; and his sister Shirley Sims. He is survived by: his daughters, Rosanna Carder (Bubba) of Lula and Cabrielle Rutherford of Gainesville; his sister Kim Watson of Gainesville; his grandchildren, Logan Carder, Ethan Carder (Haylee), Dawson Carder (Cheyenne), Amelia Rutherford and Grant Rutherford; and his great grandchild Bentley Carder. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Home (2030 Memorial Park Dr, Gainesville, GA 30504).
