He is survived by: his wife Connie Lawson; his daughter Ashley Javins (Greg); his stepdaughter Brandy Thomas (Russell Abbott); and his grandchildren, Hannah Samples (Jacob), Morgan Elrod and Addyson Elrod. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
