She was predeceased by: her parents, O. G., Jr. Abernathy and Barbara Black Abernathy; her brother Tommy Abernathy; and her brother-in-law Larry Waters. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Irvin; her daughter BreAnna Brown (Scott); her grandchildren, Carolynn, Aubree and Jonathan; and her siblings, Glenn Abernathy (Cherry), Sherrie Kuhns (Kerry) and Teresa Waters. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
