It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Loretta Smith (Gainesville, Georgia), who passed away on September 24, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hattie B. Bailey and Mozel Barnett; and her sister Mary Tabor. She is survived by: her husband Edwin Lamar Smith; her children, Sabine Barnett, Eric Morrow (Sofie), Jimmy Scott, Jr. (Sherinda), Jermaine Barnett (Shanice) and Jontae Smith (Stephanie Mize); her sister Melissa Barnett; her aunts, Francine McIntosh and Charlotte Rucker; and her uncle Johnny Rucker. She is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews, 33 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Nieces and Nephews. And a host of family and friends.
