She is survived by: her parent Maria Lopez; her husband Luis Manuel Chavez of Gainesville; her children, Juan Chavez of Gainesville, Daniel Chavez of Gainesville, Luis Chavez of Gainesville, Gerardo Chavez of Gainesville, Maricela Chavez of Mexico and Julio Chavez of Nashville, TN; and her sister Angela Medina-Lopez of Mexico. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren.
