She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Flem Shirley and Sally Wright Shirley; her significant other Ralph Carter; her children, Joe Carter (Sharon), Janice Russell (Ken) and Joy Sims (Charles); her brother Jimmy Shirley (Peggy); her grandchildren, Rick Russell, Chris Russell, Brittney Maney, Jeff Sims (Kristi), Corey Carter, Dustin Carter (Ashley) and Nolan Carter (Carly); and her great grandchildren, Madelyn Russell, Addison Maney, Kennedy Maney, Marley Carter, Miles Carter, Collins Carter, Nora Carter, Caris Carter, Easton Sims and McCoy Sims.
