Lonnie D. Finley Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lonnie D. Finley (Gainesville, Georgia), who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lewis Finley and Mildred Hendricks Finley; and his siblings, Mason, Randall, John Jr., Sonny, Nell Lawrence and Mabel McNeil.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Finley of Gainesville; his son Kevin Finley (Kristin) of Gainesville; his grandchildren, Benjamin and Caroline of Gainesville; and his brother Pete Finley of Wisconsin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Memorial Park Riverside Chapel (989 Riverside Dr, Gainesville, GA 30501).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) in honor of our family's close connection to the organization's focus.
