It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lonnie Butler (Gainesville, Georgia), born in Jefferson, Georgia, who passed away on February 4, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Butler and Virginia Young; and his brother Johnny. He is survived by: his wife Alma Butler; his children, Virginia Tate (Bentz), Sonja Butler and Antwone Butler; his pet Louis Butler of Gainesville; and his grandchildren, Jermesse, Jermond, Akeem, Breaushia Butler and Nataija Millsap. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
