She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Fowler and Sarah Collins Fowler. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Simmons of Gainesville; and her children, Matthew C. Simmons of Gainesville, Chris Cato of Dahlonega, Ansley Cato Schutters of Silva and Tim Simmons of New Holland. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
