It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lida Grogan (Gainesville, Georgia), who passed away on April 2, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Bill Vickers; her granddaughter Katie Terry; and her half-brother Dan Vickers. She is survived by: her children, Jim Grogan, Susan Smithson of Gainesville and Julie Terry; her grandchildren, Seth Terry of Rome, Will Grogan, Tyler Grogan of Atlanta, Cora Terry of Arlington, Stephen Mullins of Cookeville, Cameron Grogan, Gabriela Grogan of Atlanta, Julianne Brandis and Major James Brandis of Ft; her brother-in-law Rex Grogan of Cornelia; her wife Mildred Grogan of Cornelia; her brother-in-law Bud Clegg of Dahlonega; her wife Dale Clegg of Dahlonega; and her half-brothers, Larry Vickers of Atlanta and Hubie Vickers.
The family will accept flowers, or for those who wish to do so donations can be made to the First Baptist Church, 751 Green Street NW, Gainesville, Georgia 30501; Gainesville History Center, 322 Academy Street NE, Gainesville, Georgia 30501; or to a charity of your choice.
