She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Marion and Lottie Leola Castine; and her husband Albert F. "Bud" Spiess. She is survived by: her children, Caryl Roark (Joe), Jeanne Buffington Coates (Bill) and Richard Spiess; and her grandchildren, Deuce Roark (Jennifer), Rhett Roark (Amy), Corrie Buffington Samples (Jason), Anna Kathryn Buffington Ellzey (Chris) and A. J. Spiess (Corie). She is also survived by her family, friends.
