She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Datha Bell, Sr. and Ruby Minish Bell; her husband G. Curtis Pethel; her daughter Melinda J. Pethel; her sister Yvonne Bell Long (Jack); her nieces, Audrey Long Hutcheson (Lance) and Deena Bell Llewellyn (Charles, Jr.); her nephew Alan Long (Edna); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jay, Holly Hutcheson, Brannen and Philip Long; her cousin Marsha Conner; and her siblings, Datha "Dee" Bell, Jr. and Evelyn Bell Gandara.
