She was predeceased by: her husband Leo Donald Bowen; her parents, Charles Edwin and Mattie Louise Hill; and her brothers, Charles Hill and Larry Hill.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Bowen (Patricia) of Port St, Kathy Koen (Steve) of Gainesville, Vicki Vaughan (Scott) of Lexington, SC and David Bowen (Heather) of Saginaw, MI; and her sisters, Bonnie Powell (Gary) of Alexander City, AL and Marilyn Brown (Dickie) of Opelika, AL. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
