He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Richard and Dodie Tatum Franklin; and his siblings, Joyce Wheeler and Joe Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Marguerite Maynard Franklin; his children, Pamela Carver (Chuck) and Rick Franklin (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Monica, Laura, Sam, Max and Sarah; his great grandchild Margo; and his sister JoAnn Dollar. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
