She is survived by: her husband Richard "Dick" Mecum; her brothers, Ronald Clark and Bruce Clark; her children, Cindy (Chris Thompson), Cathy White, Stacey (Daniel Manning) and Kelly (Melinda Strickland); her grandchildren, Jessica Thompson McClain, Riley White, Seth White, Morgan White, Mason Manning, Kylie Manning, Amber Strickland, Lexi Strickland and Josh Hewell; her great grandchildren, Burke McClain, Charlie McClain, Hudson McClain and Michelle Hewell; her aunt Omie Smith; her daughter Judy; and also Christopher Thompson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Home (2030 Memorial Park Dr, Gainesville, GA 30504). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Memorial Park (2030 Memorial Park Dr, Gainesville, GA 30504).
