It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Thompson Whitmire of Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on July 29, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Rev. Harold Thompson; and her son-in-law Randall Chamlee. She is survived by: her husband Don Whitmire of Gainesville; her children, Joy Chamlee, Jerry Thompson (Donna), Jonathan Thompson (Donna), Donna Wilson (Mike) and Tim Whitmire; and her siblings, Huey Vaughan and Hilda Vaughan. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
