He is survived by: his wife Martha Evelyn Tarrer Morris; his daughter Tara Leigh Morris Barrett; his son-in-law Matthew Barrett; his son Joseph Douglas Morris, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Lei "Linda" Pan Morris; his granddaughter Amelia Jo Barrett; and his cousin Margaret Rushing Luther.
