He is survived by: his children, Elaine Samuels, Cheryl Hester (Melvin), William Samuels (Francine), Blake Samuels (Sharon) and Scott Samuels; his great grandchildren, Carla Watson, Tyrone Samuels (Latonia), David Phillips, Anthony Phillips, Matthew Samuels (Maddie), Wesley Samuels III, Nicole Samuels, Quillian Samuels, Averen Samuels, Tristen Taylor, Courtland Samuels, Zayland Samuels and Arden Samuels; his cousin Shirley Ann Lewis; and his close friend John Blackwell.
