It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John R. Pirhalla (Gainesville, Georgia), born in Jessup, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 27, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Ray Pirhalla; his children, Lisa Cecil, Sherrie Braxton, John Pirhalla III, Lorylynn Monty and Lisa Roach; his son-in-law Scott Roach; his grandchildren, Lauren Herring, Jeff Cecil, Harrison Hove, Jordan Jonas, Eli Pirhalla, Katie Holdren, Madison Strong and Mason Roach; and his great grandchildren, Cohen Herring, Addison Herring and Amelia Jonas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the music department at the First Baptist Church, 751 Green Street, Gainesville, Georgia 30501.
