He is survived by: his grandson John Connor; his wife Rebecca "Becky" Waldrep Latty; his daughter Dinah; his son-in-law Jerry Winfree of Gainesville; his grandson John Connor Winfree of Gainesville; his brother O'Neal (Slick); and his sister-in-law Carol Latty. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives.
