He is survived by: his wife Elaine Head Rowland; his children, Robert Britton Rowland (Micke) and Shawn Rowland-Howell; his grandchildren, Nickolas Rowland (Maegan) and Victoria Platt (Keith); his great grandchildren, Knox Platt, Grady Platt and Henry Rowland; and his sisters, Bettie Harding and Patricia Shaw. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
