She was predeceased by: her parents, U. S. Martin and Addie Bell Harris Martin; her husband Melvin Hunter, Sr.; her daughter Martha Ann Hunter Johnson; and her granddaughter Jeannice Pinder.
She is survived by: her children, Jessie Mae Pinder of Gainesville and Melvin Hunter, Jr. (Cheryl) of Baltimore; her grandchildren, Ronald Pinder of Gainesville, Tracey Johnson (Melissa) of Burlington and Tylanda Johnson of Charlotte; her great grandchildren, Marissa Johnson of Seattle Washington, Dara Yates (Damyn) of Burlington, Avery Johnson (Neydeen) of Pasco and Waylon Johnson of New York; her great great grandchildren, Daryan Yates and Darius Yates; and her sisters, Annie Mary Mintz, Elizabeth Moon and Georgia Strickland. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members and close friends.
