He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Simmons and Cleo Cantrell Simmons; and his wife Lillian Fowler Simmons. He is survived by: his sons, Timothy Simmons of New Holland and Matthew Simmons of Gainesville; and his sister Rebecca Evelyn Caroll of Gainesville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
