With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Lamar Mason of Gainesville, Georgia, born in Lawrenceville, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 13, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Greta Tanner Mason; and his parents, Clarence Mason and Omie Lee Mason (Gower). He is survived by: his children, Greg Mason, Chris Mason and Carla Tidwell (Mark); and his grandchildren, Jessica Loyson (Matt), Josh Mason, Jennifer Maddalena (AJ), Tyler Tidwell (Nicole), Heather Dennis (Zach), Alex Tidwell (Mallarie), Christian Mason and Haley Mason. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel (1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046). A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Gwinnett Memorial Park (925 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046).
