It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry McDonald Dean of Gainesville, Georgia, born in Niagara Falls, New York, who passed away on November 2, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank S. Dean and Marguerite McDonald Dean; and his sisters, Lorraine and Carol Dean. He is survived by: his sister Linda Kottre of Torrance, California.; his wife Linda Dean; his daughters, Elisabeth Rose (Charles) of Hayward, Jennifer Arrington (Chris) of Talking Rock, Rebecca Halter (Scott) of Huntsville, Jessica McDonald (Ryan) of Gainesville and Susan Hardy (Michael) of Gainesville, Georgia.; and his grandchildren, Madeline Rose, Heidi Rose, Michael Hardy, Jonathan Hardy, Kylene McDonald, Lucy Halter, Molly Halter, Dean McDonald, Jessica Hardy, Bonnie Halter, Cindy Halter and Lily Arrington.
Donations can be made to the building fund at Lanier United Methodist Church or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his honor.
