He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Brame Rogers and Eula Aileen Cone Rogers; his siblings, Joyleen Pealock, Dorcas Burnett, Sharon Ferrell, Faith Phillips and Stephen Rogers; his grandchildren, Michael Rogers, Francesca Rogers, Thomas Rogers and Nicole Moss; and his former wife Edna Elaine Gordon Rogers.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Lou Baumgartner Rogers of Gainesville; his children, Jerry Rogers, Jr. of Dahlonega, Georgia, Don Rogers of Gainesville, Debbie Sue Rogers of Gainesville and Sheila Renae Brook (Evan) of Carrolton; his stepson Robert Paul of Indiana; his granddaughters, Lisa Pruitt, Victoria Jones, Rachael Malpasso and Brittany Rogers; his niece Melissa Johnston of South Carolina; and his nephew Gordy Pealock of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
