It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Kay Smith Rhodes (Gainesville, Georgia), born in Reagan, Tennessee, who passed away on August 25, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Earl E. Rhodes; and her sisters, Jo Ethelyn Smith and Joan Smith Brasher. She is survived by: her daughters, Pat Broadbent, Rhonda Allen (Steve) and Joy Rhodes; and her grandchildren, Scott Carpenter (Stacy), Rachel Meads (Joseph), Jesse Carpenter (Karri), Rebecca Carpenter, Michael Allen (Amanda), Jan Webb (Tony), Lisa Nielsen (Eric) and Amy Briske (Michael). She is also survived by great grandchildren with one on the way; one great great grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
