With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Bass of Gainesville, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on March 2, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Herschel and Marion Godfrey Blankenship; and her brothers, Frank Blankenship, Dewitt Blankenship, John Blankenship, Eugene Blankenship, Bill Blankenship and Hubert Blankenship.
She is survived by: her husband Anthony "Tony" Bass; her son Richard; her daughter-in-law Sandra Bass; her daughter Leah; her son-in-law Larry Harwood; her grandchildren, Katie Baugh (John) of Evansville, IN, Anslie Bass of Flowery Branch, Bailey Armour (Josh Burns) of Versailles, KY and Trent Armour of Boston, MA; and her brother Jarrett Blankenship. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
