She was predeceased by: her husband Ezell Stephens; her grandmother Annie Byrd Hawkins; and her parents, Sarah Hawkins Maxey and Raymond Maxey. She is survived by: her brother Larry Thomas (Gloria); and her daughter Camille Stephens.
