He is survived by: his daughter Victoria Whitmire McCollum of Gainesville; his brothers, Vincent Eugene Whitmire and Jody Whitmire of Gainesville; his half-brothers, Steve Cannon and Budgy Reynolds; his sisters, Darlene Whitmire Evans Hopkins and Jeannie Savage; and his grandchildren, Audrey McCollum and Emmy McCollum.
