He was predeceased by: his parents, Tracy Gittens and Lola Gittens; and his sisters, Vernell Phillips and Jeanette Hosch. He is survived by: his wife Linda Bennett Gittens; his sons, Chad (Misty Gittens) and Todd Gittens (Amanda House); his grandchildren, Sophie Gittens, Kali Murphy and Riley Murphy; and his sister Sybil Phillips.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
