It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Clyde Townley of Gainesville, Georgia, born in Cumming, Georgia, who passed away on February 3, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Townley and Louise Townley; his siblings, Thelma Townley, Martha Talley and Dean Townley; his brother-in-law John Gober; and his niece Teresa Miller.
He is survived by: his nephew Franklin Talley; and his sisters, Mary Gober, Ruby Nell Graham and Nadine Crumley (Ralph). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many other family members.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in James's memory to Cool Springs Baptist Church, 4581 Will Wallace Rd., Gainesville, GA 30506.
