It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Allen Butts Sr. of Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on November 25, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Butt and Louise Butt of Blairsville, GA. He is survived by: his wife Wynelle Lowery Butts; and his children, Dr. James Allen Butts Jr., Lawrence Eugene Butts (Larry) and Katherine Louise Butts (Kathy). He is also survived by two daughters-in-law and a son-in-law as well as five grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
