He was predeceased by: his parents, Dave Ray and Irene Ray; his siblings, James Ray, Junior Ray, Fred Ray, Dorothy Weaver, Lois Wilson and Robbie Walls; and his father-in-law Johnny Barnes.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Ray of Gainesville; his children, Kevin Ray (Jennifer) of Gainesville, Kyle Ray (Ashley) of Blairsville and Kelli Ray of Gainesville; his grandchildren, Landin, Cayden, Sawyer, Landen, Weston, Ava and Grayson; his siblings, Bobby Ray (Louise) of Gainesville, Larry Ray (Barbara) of Gainesville, Jerry Ray (Geneva) of Gainesville, Girlie Turner of Cleveland, Bernice Berry of Gainesville and Myrtice Ellis (James) of Gainesville; and his mother-in-law Henrietta Barnes of Murrayville.
