He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Bayard and Necie Bayard (Reidling); his wife Peggy Sue Bayard (Cooper); and his siblings, Clarence Bayard and Sue Bayard Pierce.
He is survived by: his children, Hiram Sidney Bayard (Tina), Henry Sonny Bayard, Jr. and Tera Sue Bayard (Kathy); his grandchildren, Waylon Bayard (Kimberly), Dustin Chicurel-Bayard (Miriam), Olivia Cantwell (Kevin) and Betsy Sue Bayard (Jonathan); and his great grandchildren, Kingston Bayard, Brendon Tyler Branson II, Mia Pierce Cantwell and Maggie Rose Cantwell.
