She was predeceased by: her parents, Henrietta Wimpy Cummings and Zealia Martin Wimpy; her husband Deacon David Cummings; her children, Brelinda A. Cheeks Watson, Izealia M. Cheeks Langston and Tina D. Cheeks Norman; her grandson Cedric L. Cheeks; her great grandchild Fredrick D. Cheeks; and her siblings, Cleotis Wimpy Green, Andrew Wimpy and John Henry Wimpy.
She is survived by: her children, Janice C. Young (Grover E.), Dorothy J. Cheeks, Carolyn D. Robinson (James), Angela C. Bell, Jennifer L. Robinson (Jonathan), Carl B. Cheeks and Allen K. Cummings. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 11 great, great grandchildren.
