Helen Barnes Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Barnes (Gainesville, Georgia), born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on January 13, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse William Franklin Barnes II; her child Paul; and her sister Edith. She is survived by: her son Bill; her siblings, Charles Tritton (Maxine) of Smyrna, GA and Charline Shanks of Gainesville, GA; and her nieces and nephews, Dennis Shanks, Susan Shanks, Janice Kimler, Cheryl Clark, Wayne Shanks, Mike Tritton, Bob Tritton, Neal John White III, Barbara Frotscher and Linda Robinson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Salvation Army or Gainesville First United Methodist Church.
