It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Braswell (Gainesville, Georgia), born in Metter, Georgia, who passed away on November 24, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Lanier and Lois Lane Lanier; and her husband Wilbur R. "Doc" Braswell. She is survived by: her son Wayne Braswell; her daughter-in-law Kathie Braswell of Dawsonville; her sister Jacqueline Tillery of Metter; her grandchildren, Laura Young, Gainesville, Perrie and Zack Tatum; her great grandchildren, Merrie Young, Gracie Young and Hazel Tatum; and her nephew Danny Tillery.
