He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Jakes and Bernice Jakes; his brothers, Robert Jr. and Donald; his wife Bettye; his sons, Frank (Tammie) and Greg; his granddaughter Maddy; his sister Ellen; his sister-in-law Jeanie; his nephews, Brandon, David and Andy; and his niece Laura.
