With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gene Turner of Gainesville, Georgia, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Gene left this world on August 25, 2024 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Turner and Oscar Turner; his sister Jeanne Hamlin; and his son-in-law Butch Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Turner; his daughters, Kim Turner (Chuck), LeaAnn Mitchell, Kelly Thompson (Jim) and Allison Yager (Mike); and his sisters, Gaye Johnson and Faye Reed (Phil). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
