Though Fred may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Fred touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Emma Ruth Weaver; and his daughters, Theresa Marie and Patricia Gail. He is survived by: his daughter Irene Mitchell (Weaver); his son-in-law Frank Mitchell; his grandchildren, Holly Mitchell, Joseph Mitchell and Theodore Mitchell; and his siblings, Polly Bearden, Hoyt and Mark Weaver.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Little & Davenport Funeral Home (355 Dawsonville Hwy, Gainesville, GA 30501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Tickanetley Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (122 Tickanetley Rd, Ellijay, GA 30536).
